golfas statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Sportinis žaidimas kamuoliuku. Žaidėjai smūgiuoja riedmuša kietą guminį ar plastiko kamuoliuką, kurio skersmuo 41 mm, masė 46 g. Tikslas – įvaryti kamuoliuką į duobutę, esančią per tam tikrą atstumą nuo žaidimo pradžios vietos, atliekant kuo mažiau smūgių. Aikštėje tam tikra tvarka išdėstoma 9 arba 18 takų. Kiekvieno tako pradžioje yra aikštelė, iš kurios mušamas kamuoliukas, tako gale – duobutė. Aikštės su 9 takais plotas iki 20 ha, aikštės su 18 takų – iki 50 ha. Bendras takų ilgis iki 10 km. Riedmušos kotas (1,1 m ilgio) daromas iš spyruoklinio plieno vamzdelių, o jos gale yra medinė arba metalinė galvutė. Žaidimui reikia 6 arba 14 lazdų. Žaidėjas, pirmasis įmušęs kamuoliuką į visas duobutes, laimi rungtynes. Jei žaidžia vienas su vienu, kiekvienas turi savo kamuoliuką, jei vienas su dviem, du su dviem, kiekviena pora turi kamuoliuką. Pirmosios žinios apie golfą siekia 1440 m. Golfas populiarus Šiaurės Amerikoje, Australijoje, Vakarų Europoje (Anglijoje, Olandijoje), Azijoje (Japonijoje).
